Bananas Foster - CAJUN

Directions

  1. Put 3 small scoops of ice cream in each bowl and garnish with a sprig of mint. Store in freezer
  2. In a heavy 12-inch skillet, cook butter and sugar over MEDIUM heat until bubbling.
  3. Add bananas flat side down and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Flip bananas over and cook for additional 30 seconds.
  5. TURN OFF FLAME.
  6. Add banana liqueur and rum.
  7. Turn on flame to HIGH and quickly swirl pan to ignite.
  8. Throw cinnamon into flame to create sparkles, and continue stirring until flame goes out.
  9. Place 4 banana slices in each bowl and drizzle with sauce.
