Sambuca Shrimp - ITALIAN

Directions

  1. Boil the water for pasta.
  2. Put 1 Tbs butter in a bowl.
  3. Cook pasta for 4 minutes.
  4. Drain and mix with butter in bowl. Cover to keep hot.
  5. Heat oil in saute pan.
  6. Add garlic, shallots and shrimp; cook for 1.5 minutes
  7. Add wine and Sambuca; flambe
  8. Add tomatoes, tarragon, salt and pepper; cook for 2 minutes
  9. Add butter and swirl until emulsified

Ingredients

3 Tablespoons olive oil1 Tablespoon garlic, chopped1 Tablespoon shallots, chopped1 lb Extra Large shrimp3 oz. dry white wine2 oz. Sumbuca1/4 cup fresh tomato, diced2 Tablepoons fresh tarragon, chopped, plus some to garnish1 tsp salt1 tsp pepper3 Tablespoons cold butter1 lb angel hair pasta
