Directions

Cook sausage meat in a dry nonstick pan over medium heat until browned and crumbly, 10 to 12 minutes; remove from heat and drain the grease

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix together cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, corn, cooked sausage, fire-roasted tomatoes, chiles, jalapeño peppers, green onions, salt, pepper and cayenne

Transfer mixture into a baking dish and smooth out the top

Top with light covering of grated cheddar and pinch of cayenne

Bake on a sheet pan until cheese is melted and dip is bubbling around the outside, about 30 minutes

Top with sliced green onions
