Directions
Cook bacon in a cast iron pan over MEDIUM until almost getting crisp; remove
Add sausage for 3 - 4 minutes
Add chicken for 5 minutes
Remove sausage and chicken, and then pour off grease
Turn heat to MEDIUM LOW and add onions and salt until turning translucent, about 5 minutes
Add chicken broth
Add beans, cayenne, rosemary and thyme
Add back bacon, sausage and chicken
Turn heat to MEDIUM HIGH, add enough chicken broth to cover all ingredients, and simmer for 5 - 6 minutes
Mix melted butter bread crumbs and cheese
Turn OFF heat, sprinkle half of the bread crumbs over the mixture, and broil until golden brown
Push the crust down into the mixture
Sprinkly remaining bread crumbs over the mixture and broil until golden brown
Turn off broiler and leave in the over for 15 minutes
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes
