Directions

  1. In a food processor, puree shallots, garlic, ginger, chile sauce, cumin, coriander, salt and water.
  2. Heat oil in a small pan.
  3. Add the paste and boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  5. Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  6. In a 2-quart pan, combine water, peanut butter and garlic.
  7. Cook over MEDIUM-LOW heat, stirring until mixture boils and thickens.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, lemon juice, soy and red pepper.
  9. Grill steak and serve with Peanut Sauce.
