Directions

  1. Heat oil in frying pan over MEDIUM heat.
  2. Add onion and saute, stirring often, for 10 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, celery, ketchup, chili sauce, water, meat tenderizer, sugar, pepper, salt, Worcestershire, vinegar, lemon juice, mustard, hot pepper sauce, and sherry.
  4. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  5. Marinate meat in sauce for 1 hour.
  6. Boil marinade for 5 minutes.
  7. Cook on MEDIUM grill for 7 minutes per side.
  8. Let meat stand for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve with remaining sauce.
